Restaurant: Pandan Leaf Indonesian Restaurant

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 上月經過銅鑼灣糖街,見到班蘭葉印尼美食座無虛席,星期五晚趁經開銅鑼灣,便跟老公試試這正宗印尼菜。要知這間是否正宗印尼食店,看看來幫襯的食客就知道。依所見,坐下的大部份都是印尼食客,可見其正宗程度。食店屬小店,位置不多,所以當晚8點才到,希望有位。店員話我們算好彩,因這裡長期客似雲來,經常要排隊,話口未完,有10人進來,又滿坐了!這裡提供小食、串燒、飯、花膠湯粉皮等,任君選擇。我們就選了一個小食、兩個飯及兩杯飲品。印尼小食拼盤 (HKD88)泰國小食拼盤食得多,第一次食印尼版本,原來都幾豐富,煎炸物包括:秋葵、黃豆餅、雞、雞翼及豆腐,隨拼盤的惹味辣醬醒神刺激,沾上後可為食物提升味道!當中的黃豆餅看來清淡,但原來很有口感,沾醬後更美味。雜菜燒魚飯 (HKD88)除白飯,另可改椰漿飯或斑蘭飯,今次老公選了清香椰漿飯。盛器上有一整條炸魚,賣相十分吸引。魚皮炸得脆卜卜,但魚肉仍可保持嫩滑。嗜辣的可沾點辣汁,魚的鮮味即可走上更高的層次。高良薑炸雞荷葉飯 (HKD108)這個飯材料豐富,除有大大隻炸雞,更有山丘形狀的飯、炸魚、炸豆、炸黃豆餅、炸豆腐及新鮮蔬菜。食雞前可問有禮的店員取膠手套,邊撕雞肉邊
