To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 深受一個廚藝了得的韓國華僑朋友影響,熱愛韓國美食~可惜個朋友已經離開咗香港,同埋大埔一向以來都係只得間韓燒...昨日睇openrice見到新開了一間韓國餐廳,立即叫老公去試下。CAFE首爾的位置位近太和,少少偏僻。舖面細細,格局似茶餐廳。menu得三版紙,款式不多,通常都係套餐,包湯連泡菜。我哋叫咗烤雞肋飯同埋石頭窩飯。海帶牛肉湯=>清甜,無咩味精,有少少住家feel泡菜=>少辣,ok烤雞肋飯=>鐵板上,除雞肉同菜之外,仲有韓式年糕。雞肉一般,唔會霉,有少少辣。如果食之前攪下去,效果應該會好些。石頭窩飯=>正如之前的食評所講,上菜時待應會幫你加醬油同埋把料同飯攪拌,完成果樣好似睇韓劇果時,見佢哋啲人食果啲飯咁樣,紅色,有好多配料。牛肉、配菜同醬油配搭得恰到好處,好味道整體來講,食物水準高於一般,各飯餐肉類同菜的比例差不多一比一,好健康。各款食物都有少少辣,冬天食完成個身暖晒~下次去會試下佢個泡菜餃子同韓式壽司,睇下佢有無整到我朋友嘅水準先
