To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 旺記既叉燒滑蛋飯之前已經外賣過好多次,今次堂食下午茶試埋其他野食。友人經我介紹叫左最出名既叉燒滑蛋飯。黎到既時候友人嚇親:哇!咁大碟既,因為分量實在係一d都唔孤寒,我平時自己都一般都會叫小飯,一如既往炒蛋好滑,薄切既叉燒一d都唔鞋口,加埋甜豉油同蔥花冇得輸啊!另外仲叫左個特濃蕃茄湯午餐肉粒通粉,跟餐有多士同炒蛋,我地將加5蚊轉做奶油豬。我冇食到個通粉所以就不作評論啦!奶油豬既豬仔包係屬於薄皮個種,我自己偏好於厚皮既豬仔包因為食落去會更加脆,但旺記既奶油豬都好香,值得加5蚊去食!最後係芝士洋蔥豬排豬仔包豬仔包中間夾左咁多野都keep到脆口,芝士並唔係港女最愛拉芝既個種芝士亦都唔係好多,咁樣令到個芝士唔會搶走曬主角豬排既味道,洋蔥甜,豬排鬆軟,而且新鮮炸出黎,熱辣辣,不錯!
