To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 約中午到潮江春排隊飲茶,排了約半小時入內。飲中午茶來說,價錢算貴,茶價HKD 14一位環境好大,坐得好舒服,傾計好地方。最好食都是大蝦腐皮卷:腐皮煎得香最脆,大蝦彈牙,大點 HKD 34。黑松靈淮山蒸素餃 (大點)HKD 34。內有粟米,紅蘿蔔。 粟米唔甜,紅蘿蔔沒味 ,雖有口感,但味道有點淡 ,有待改善。潮洲蒸粉果: 有口感,味道OK, 豬肉新鮮入味,花生淋。大點 HKD34。煎蘿蔔糕:味道一般,少蘿蔔絲,有臘腸味道,煎得金黃, 中點HKD 30。家鄉特色炒麵線: HKD 60 最覺得點錯的食物,完全是胡椒味 ,麵線雖炒得爽,但略欠有點油。
