To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

曾經我是Genki的支持者,平均一星期去消費一次。自從它改了會員儲分制後,光顧次數由一星期一次減至一個月一次。有次,在非繁忙時間,裡面有卡位,但職員應該覺得人數少,不願意讓我們入坐,連搭枱也拒絕我們的要求。當我們結帳時,裡面還有空位。心裡感覺非常差,自此我便停止光顧。最近,它推行續會計劃,便嘗試再次光顧。上次服務一般的員工已不在,最近幾次光顧服務可以接受。物價騰貴,原材料上脹,最低工資推行;自然令價格上調,這是可以理解。不過,帳價後,食物素質下降,份量減少,就難以接受。以下是一些例子﹕  1. 明太子雞翼味道還可以,雖然無以前炸得那麼脆。但雞翼真是太細了,應該可以叫做一口雞翼  2. 油金魚壽司以前這兒的油金魚很好食,有在口中溶化的感覺。現在的油金魚,魚皮也處理不好,味道更加不能和從前相比   3. 炸墨魚咀以前會有一片檸檬,灑在上面帶出鮮味。現在份量少了,檸檬也消失了。
