To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 假日同屋企人飲茶,間間都人山人海。上水滙呢間潮江春,侍應人手唔夠,做唔切。已經用手機攞飛,都等左好耐位先可以入坐。茶位$13、煎菜$15/碟、小點$19,中點$29、大點$33、特點$36。雖然係集團,但間間分店啲野食同價錢都唔係統一既。香煎韭菜粿$29,煎得脆皮,但極油膩,好似油浸咁。食完成個碟都係一滴滴油,好恐怖。煎蝦米腸粉$29,都幾大碟,煎得都唔錯。食食下先記得影相。叫點心姐姐一陣黎開俾多碟醬我,佢話好,一去冇回頭。沙律明蝦角$33,好大隻,又香又脆,裏面全部都係蝦,好滿足。芝士蜂巢芋角$33,而家好少酒樓有做,就連好多間潮江春分店都冇呢款點心。係咪工序好繁複呢?芋蓉香滑,芝士流心,正仲有個晶瑩鮮蝦餃$36,蝦都幾大隻,爽口彈牙。五個點心,兩個人二百幾蚊,唔貴既,只不過真係等得太耐。人手唔夠,執枱執唔切、冇人開茶、冇人加水、冇人收點心紙。
