法國菜是眾所公認世界上最高級的菜色之一, 口感之細膩簡直為一種藝術。法國人對於食物絕不是停留於填飽肚子, 更是一種享受生活的態度。數香港出名的法國菜, 不外乎是四季酒店 Caprice, 置地廣場Robuchon, 半島的 Gaddi's 或文華的 Pierre 與 Amber, 一般午餐人均約600元, 對打工一族來說不可說平宜, 日常午餐又想品嘗法國菜作工作加油站有何選擇 ? 作為本士吃貨的筆者和友人在離開戰場放飯時希望吃一餐法國菜作回氣, 最後行至Soho區看到Bouchon Bistro Francais, 就進去一試。內裏環境正如其名法式小餐館(bistro), 餐館樓底甚高, 牆身掛著銅鍋廚具, 具法國地方色彩, 店內座位是高身的吧檯為主。午時食客不多, 老外和本地人各半, 看了Menu後筆者和友人都同時點了3-Courses Set Lunch。 待者先送上法式長棍麵包(Baguette), 其長度是正常的1/3, 熱烘烘的切割紋路麵包, 酥脆的外皮, 不含油脂的包面, 加上店方提供的牛油, 非常好吃, 一定要再來一客, 正 !Scottish Smoked Salmon

 賣相非常有法國菜特色, 初看有Eggs Benedict的感覺, 但比其更出色, 英式鬆餅改為法式奶油麵包Brioche, Size比一般Eggs Benedict大, 加上蘇格蘭三文魚, 味道口感實在不錯, Brioche非常酥脆香口伴上什菜, 荷蘭醬加上大大的流心蛋, superbe goût (味道一流)。

 main course 大家都要了龍脷 (Sole), 龍脷煎至金黃熟透, 包上香脆杏仁, 淋上西洋菜汁, 視覺效果非常好, 有法國菜的特色, 當然用料不是法國都化龍脷, 一條800g成本要約$300, 但同樣做得出色美味 (délicieux), 味道同樣有魚味。

, 檸檬撻撻面加上脆焦糖, 伴上雪糕, 淡淡的檸檬香開胃醒神, 加上香脆焦糖, 非常有特色, 再加上雪糕, 一泠一熱, 也令甜品在賣相上生色不少。
