To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 最近行街去開尖沙咀,見到新開左間中菜,終於今晚放工約埋一班朋友去試試佢。一行入去見到全海景,未食已經覺得好舒服,睇到佢果個menu 果陣就覺好特別,可以自己揀一道餸既煮法,就好似叫一味龍蝦可以有8種做法俾你揀,真係唔係蒸炒煮炸咁簡單。頭盤 桂花蜜漬車厘茄好甜,好清新,凍食做開胃菜可以醒一醒個人酒香生炸妙齡鴿 呢個餸一定要即上即食,雖然係乳鴿,但好有油香,勁juicy, 啲肉唔柴,岩岩好金絲麥香既龍蝦佢用燕麥黎炸,龍蝦既鮮味再加上燕麥淡淡既甜味,唔會滯,炸左既燕麥食落又唔會太有罪惡感,龍蝦煮得好好,肉都好結實,好新鮮,好彈牙宮廷蜜汁烤排骨個排骨可以用刀叉食,煮得幾腍,鐘意食pull pork既可以試下,個汁係甜既,不過食完個排骨之後食埋粒蕃茄,立即balance返好開胃欖豉醬爆象拔蚌欖菜既咸香加上新鮮爽脆既象拔蚌,十分惹味,又有鑊氣,味道相當唔錯。二鬆炒芥蘭食到咁上下緊係要食返幾條菜,芥蘭炒得好好,好翠綠,加埋魚鬆肉鬆同紫菜,唔會話太寡,咸咸地好想食多幾條菜桂花鵝肝牛鬆炒飯炒到粒粒飯都分離,加上濃濃既鵝肝粒同牛鬆一齊炒,香味十足,係最後加返少少澱粉質,感覺岩岩好,好滿足
