To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今次同朋友一齊係尖沙咀做完嘢之後大家都想搵一間中菜食最後大家就搵咗呢間八一漁八估唔到呢間餐廳環境舒適之外, 仲坐擁無敵海景真係而且菜式味道整體都好出色, 之後真係會再去幫襯砂朥越白胡椒焗大肉蟹呢間餐廳海鮮真係做得唔錯, 而且仲有好多種煮法選擇真係次次去都可以有新鮮感今次呢個肉蟹就以白胡椒焗真係無得頂肉蟹煮得剛剛好唔會過老加埋白胡椒香辣真係食唔停口薑汁米酒花蛤皇花蛤皇相當大隻, 蚌肉鮮甜爽彈薑汁米酒湯一齊食時都好夾食完成身都暖哂肥婆五花腩黑叉燒相信大多數人對叉燒都唔會陌生普遍香港燒味師傅製作叉燒時都會選用上脢頭肉今次八一漁八嘅肥婆五花腩黑叉燒就一反傳統選用五花腩部位真係睇見都相當邪惡但食時肥而不膩相當甘香相當出色XO醬蟹肉家鄉炒米粉米粉炒得相當乾身真係好考師傅手藝同埋呢個炒米粉真係必點,蟹肉肉汁融入米粉令人相當回味加上XO醬令成個米粉更有層次原個雪燕香芒椰子盅賣相已經非常精緻, 而且甜度剛好唔會過甜食時仲有啖啖椰香 ,加埋雪燕份外名貴
