Restaurant: Kyoto Joe

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 盛智文(Allan Zeman)貴為「蘭桂坊之父」,他旗下的Joe 系列一直想試試看,今次特意選的是kyoto joe,本身kyoto 已是本人至愛,愛上她濃厚的日本傳統文化及建築。到達Kyoto Joe餐廳後,果然名不虛傳,佔地很廣,以京都伏見稻荷大社的千本鳥居為主題,再以奪目吸引的艷紅色為主色,更加掛上大量象徵好運的鯉魚,很有氣氛,而且大玻璃還能夠飽覽中環景觀,令本人有走進深閨的舒適感覺。回歸食物,先來客spinach salad和sp toro lettuce作前菜,然後就有一堆sashimi : 帶子,真鯛魚,油甘魚,吞拿魚,刺身蝦,三文魚。鮑魚用清酒煮,蘿蔔用冰糖煲,龍蝦湯用龍蝦殼熬,主食就有宮崎穀飼和牛,獅子唐辛子(Shishito pepper),tempura 椰菜花,美味的鰻魚飯未端來已有飽和狀態,好客有禮的侍應哥哥仔仔還在這個時間前來跟我們邊閒談邊喝清酒,還給我們嘗嘗新派的cream brulee ,實在是令我們過了一個既愉快又滿足的晚上。
