To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

身為香港的潮州人，每逢經過潮汕食肆，必定光顧品嚐是否正宗潮菜。今天路過西營盤正街，忽然有陣陣牛腩香味撲鼻，抬頭一看，見到招牌寫著富興潮州麵家，即刻入內叫了一碗牛腩魚蛋河，再加一碟油菜和奶茶，價錢不貴，但份量也不少。最欣賞是魚蛋，夠彈牙和爽滑，味道與幾十年前的街市魚蛋味道一樣無變，值得推薦！另外牛腩火喉夠軟稔，配上潮式河粉一齊品嚐，充滿了家鄉的味道！翻開餐牌見到有家鄉蠔仔粥，當然不放過啦，可惜味道較淡，這個就食唔到家鄉的濃味感覺了。
