又到送出手信時間,友人知我食咗無數咁多日本嘢,今晚一於轉口味去食潮菜,近佢屋企附近嘅呢一間。裝潢走古典路線坐底無耐,侍應送上”歡迎茶”,先飲兩杯再慢慢睇下食咩。未開飯先飲湯,有請護國菜 ($68) 出場………………..成碗賣相有點似開心果露,面頭再加少少乾貝絲。入口首先食到菜味 (菠菜?!),之後再到魚肉味,感覺相當有營養及幾飽肚。另一客湯係聽個名覺得應該有D料到嘅二十年老菜脯燉鮮豬肚湯 ($78)入口熱度十足,個老菜脯已變成黑色及質感軟腍,咸味依然; 豬肚就燉至軟滑,再飲埋啖湯,味咸鮮,係溫和版嘅胡椒咸菜豬肚湯。要食魚飯,唔一定要馬友/烏頭嘅,呢客係大眼鷄魚飯 ($398),原條連皮用鹽油水浸熟再放涼就食得。都唔細條呀,魚肉已有咸味,比起馬友/烏頭呢D就無咩魚油,仲可以配埋個普寧豆醬點食,用嚟食潮州粥岩岩好。潮菜中不能缺席嘅滷水鵝片 ($188) 上枱啦………………以滷水豆腐放底,薄身嘅鵝肉片舖上面。大部份都係肉,只有頂邊嘅鵝皮,點醋蒜水食可增加食慾。侍應推介呢客潮式魚丸肉碎煮汕頭白 ($208),以湯浸住D食材,有點似金銀蛋莧菜D朋友。肉碎中有埋方魚碎,加埋個娃娃菜跟芹菜,啖湯都清

魚丸係潮汕嘅名物,入口相當彈牙,點少少辣椒油就仲惹味。
