To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

年年都會去鴻星食大閘蟹餐，今年真係差到一個點：一坐低就比咗個片皮鴨附帶嘅粉皮一籠，仲話我地落咗個小菜㖭，阿姐鬧個侍應入錯單，其實唔知邊個錯，（最後落單個阿姐搵返張啱嘅單出嚟）攪到有小朋友嘅隔離枱家長們都叫佢走開唔好鬧，終於攪返正常上菜，主角大閘蟹（2皇1后）皇無膏，后就好d，好失望。其他餸都好似縮咗水，但價錢又貴咗，2人餐$996加埋18元x2位茶錢及16元小食，埋單=$1048-鴻星執剩旺角moko呢間，咁攪法希望佢捱得住啦！
