To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天假日,本來打算外出吃早餐,但太晚起床,剛過了早餐的時段,唯有改吃午餐。自從康年結業,太興開張至今,也沒有在這裡用過餐,因為門口一大埋人龍已經「嚇窒」了我們!今天難得可以有位,一於點至愛的燒味~燒鵝飯鵝燒得沒話說,肉汁豐沛,略脆的外皮,連著一環油脂,甘香四溢。只是略嫌鵝肉醃得不夠,某些部位肉也略「鞋」,但整體而言,仍能保持水準,收貨!值得一提的是,這裡的飯欠缺香糯、柔軟,比較硬,如果可以用好一點的香米,整件事就更加完美。蜜汁叉燒飯蜜汁叉燒,蜜味很夠,有些人可能會嫌太蜜,但我喜歡。下單時叫了半肥瘦的,可惜來的時候仍略瘦,而且鬆化程度差了,略有失望。只是,飯實在需要改善,根本沒法配合燒味油甘的味道,可惜! 在調景嶺這裡,想吃好一點的燒味,選擇幾乎沒有。自從來了太興後,多一個選擇,但失去的卻是康年每日新鮮出爐的麵包,有得有失。

鵝燒得沒話說,肉汁豐沛,略脆的外皮,連著一環油脂,甘香四溢。只是略嫌鵝肉醃得不夠,某些部位肉也略「鞋」,但整體而言,仍能保持水準,收貨!值得一提的是,這裡的飯欠缺香糯、柔軟,比較硬,如果可以用好一點的香米,整件事就更加完美。
