Restaurant: Vegelink Vegetarian Cuisine

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 認識「素之樂」是到它的素食Supermarket買素凍「肉」,才知道有私房菜吃,不過那次fully-booked,不能即日試吃。今之訂了位,準時七時到,不過由於廚房出菜不是一檯檯而是一批批,所以也要等到七時二十分才上第一道菜,以遷就其他遲到的食客。如果再遲就是吃八點那一輪了。共十一道菜,賣相相當精緻。以天然食材為主,沒有這樣那樣的素肉素魚和煎煎炸炸,真是吃廚藝功夫。例如燒茄子,刀功靚,燒得外皮剛好,內肉又不乾,茨汁不鹹,最重要是食後不口渴(無味精)!由於是一位位計,所以就算只是兩位也可吃足十一道,這解決我和老婆兩人吃中菜時不可點太外道菜的問題。不過$160一位(另再加一)也不算便宜。但是吃第一次的中菜fine-dining,而且還是素食,很開心!
