To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 朋友介紹銅鑼灣V Point內的上海餐館「豫園」,原來係香港米芝蓮2019推介餐廳,今晚同媽咪食飯,老人家都比較喜歡中菜,餐廳又係少鹽少糖食店,就試下啦。餐廳充滿中式風情,牆上都有很多壁畫,意景不錯。最角落位置有大大塊落地玻璃,如果下午飲茶的話,景色應該有分加。 南翔小籠包這裡的小籠包大大件,皮薄多汁,新鮮豬肉加上湯,咬開爆多汁,記得趁熱食! 賽螃蟹蛋白炒得很香,加一點醋,拌飯一流。蛋白嘅嫩滑程度如能提升一點會更美味。海蜇頭帶有香濃麻油味,加上青瓜,爽脆又有咬口。紹興醉雞賣相特別,好似太空館的半球雞,雞肉滑嫩,酒香但不會酒太濃。 龍鬚鮮魚絲 呢個係店長大力推介菜式,開頭我以為係魷魚絲,原來係切得如龍鬚般幼細的魚肉,好考刀功,走油後,魚肉嫩滑,鮮味保存得很好。 鮮松茸火腿豬腱燉螺頭燉湯鮮甜又健康,螺頭經過三小時熬製,味道更香濃。
