To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今晚去了間食上海菜嘅餐廳食物,因有幾位由上海來港嘅同事,而他們對家鄉嘅口味有些掛念,於是搵了一輪見到這裡都唔錯就同他們一試!先來個糖心燻蛋,煙燻味濃郁,中間半熟嘅流心蛋黃,一入口就已經感覺得到個陣香味!識食嘅朋友點了份龍鬚桂魚絲,桂魚絲十分入味,而師傅嘅刀功亦十分了得,一條條,好似食緊麵條一樣,肉質嫩滑夠味!而紹興醉雞配上個汁一齊入口味道更加香濃嫩滑!而個人比較喜歡哩個焗釀蟹蓋,焗得金黃,入口啖啖蟹膏配埋蟹肉,蟹膏味道濃郁帶點鮮甜,再大隻啲就更佳!必吃嘅龍井炒蝦仁,入口味道清新,蝦仁肉質彈牙爽口在口中帶點點龍井口味,又係另一種食法!海鮮雙面黃就係上海嘅同事落單,試試哩個味道,有蝦仁同魚片,個麵炸得好香脆,入口混埋啲配料入口味道分外入味!最後加埋香蕉高力豆沙,香蕉味道香濃加埋豆沙蓉入口,感覺又唔會太漏!上海同事都好滿意這裡嘅味道!
