To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 最近敢凍,朋友就介紹新開既火鍋店,話好惦!敢就試下, 去到深水埗一間火鍋店,入到去先有好多種醬料提供,而且仲有一碟肥牛送,裡面有好多特式湯底選擇,我地就叫左個杏汁白肺湯,個老細話不如未食前試下d湯,點知一試,個湯簡直一流,100分滋潤,杏仁味好香,白肺好乾淨,又甜又滑,問下個老細點解敢惦,個老細話係獨家秘方,係用鯊魚骨同豬骨精制而成,而且有擴癌同養顏功效,到d牛肉又滑又香,真係未食過咁正,再嚟田雞同花甲,非常新鮮,仲有芝心牛丸同芝心墨丸,好特別出面真係未食過,埋單3個人都係2百幾,簡直平靚正!各位食家快d去試下啦!特式介紹花甲花觸鍋杏汁白肺鍋水魚鍋蛇錄王骨魚芝心丸墨魚麵
