同一個地點,先後在不同店名的情況下光顧了好一段日子,但自從改名為Common Room後,反而沒有再去。店內裝潢跟以往分別不大,但聽聞食物水準比以前更好,目測之下,客人的確比之前多。餐前先來一杯店方獨特的Cocktail,總共有五種口味 : Chocolate Factory、Young & Beautiful、Aperol Spitzer、Whiskey Snapper及Crimson Sweet。Crimson Sweet ($130)(Gin, Watermelon Liqueur. Poached Oyster (the toast) ($148)並非單單放上蠔肉配多士,而是再澆上荷蘭汁,多了一份甜美,軟綿的蠔肉與香脆的多士成了上佳的配搭。
Squid ink seafood paella ($138)份量恰到好處,墨汁緊扣飯粒,亦有夾生飯的嚼口,但甜椒及墨魚片並沒有連同飯粒一同煮,賣相是好,但味道無疑打了折扣。

Slow braised pork belly ($108)用上五花腩,烤烘得肥油盡去,肉香四溢,sauce更是蘋果醬,中和了油膩的口感,處理得相當到位。

Cryo-fried Vanilla Ice Cream ($85)作用甜品真是會令女孩子大叫一聲,淋上白蘭地再點火,令蛋白表面多了一份焦香,然後澆上紅莓醬,而內裡是一大球香草雪糕,如果在坐不是有其他人,在下肯定能消滅一個。

講真一句,由前菜到甜品,可以說是同樣出色,的確令在下改觀,而且價錢在同區較相宜,亦是令人有再次光臨的衝動。
