To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 兩個人懶得煑飯,但又想有米落肚,於是就去了富臨開餐。之前也曾經來過這裏飲早茶,覺得食物質素不錯,雖然走的不是高檔路線,然而勝在價錢夠實際,服務還過得去,於是回頭再幫襯。點了三個菜,分別是蒸龍躉、燒鵝皇、及牛仔骨。三個都好味夠火侯,值得一讚。最喜歡吃蒸魚的葱,愈多愈好,這裡的蔥很多又好味道,蒸魚豉油鹹淡剛好,撈飯一流,魚肉既鮮嫩、又大條,無欺場。燒鵝皇甘香肥美,但量不是很多,你一塊、我一塊,白飯還未到就已經差不多吃光了。牛仔骨牛味濃郁,雖説不上是極品,但作為普通晚飯小菜,已經足以讓人食得滿足,配菜的洋蔥及土豆也非常出色美味。
