To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

天氣轉冷,想起暖笠笠的羊腩煲,今晚路過長沙灣的「八月茶室」,見門前的海報非常吸引,便入內嚐嚐。餐廳雅裝整潔,最搶眼的是“月球”裝飾,很特色。翻開餐牌,有多款川粵小菜可供選擇。“枝竹羊腩煲”原煲枝竹羊腩煲,以石油氣爐滾住,熱焫焫,香噴噴,更附上生菜及腐乳醬。羊腩肥瘦適中,爽口彈牙,炆得入味,配菜有冬菇、馬蹄、枝竹、竹筍等,肉香濃郁的湯汁用來浸生菜最合宜。“蔥爆菌菇炒牛肉”炒得很香,夠鑊氣,嫩滑牛肉配鮑魚菇及京蔥,多重口感。“西檸雞”去骨雞塊啖啖肉,用粉漿炸過,外皮香口,裏面的雞肉嫩滑,加上檸檬味酸甜芡汁,特別惹味。“芝麻黑糖醋骨”排骨炸脆,肉質彈牙,糖醋汁酸甜滋味,送飯一流。惠顧小菜加$12可加例湯及白飯,可以優惠價追加飲品。例湯是足料老火青紅蘿蔔豬骨湯,清甜好味兼無味精。這裏的川粵小菜同樣出色,夠鑊氣,是家常便飯的好選擇。
