To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 舊同事聚餐,最喜歡去酒樓食中餐因為全部人都岩食,又坐得舒服,可以邊食邊講下近況今次人唔算好多,叫左半圍 再加幾個餸花姿片份量比想像中少,西蘭花得幾舊,但就幾大舊調味唔錯,令到花姿夠味之餘又唔會太油太咸花姿口感唔錯唔會煮得過火太韌魚湯沙巴躉魚湯熬得好濃郁豐厚,睇得出好足料而且熬左好耐配料好多,令味道幾豐富蕃茄幾鮮甜、湯巴躉都幾滑,唔會好柴蝦仁蛋餅呢個意料之外地好食蛋餅應該半煎炸所以好香,但食落唔會好油蛋味好香,又有油炸過既香味,幾惹味開胃蝦正常,尚算彈牙調味剛好,微咸,令人不自覺食唔停口鮑魚扣花菇鮑魚都算大隻,唔錯既,味道都滷得入味,唔會死咸仲保留到鮑魚既鮮味,咬落口幾軟腍個汁唔會太稠 一patpat咁,加落生菜令味道增加層次,生菜都幾爽口新鮮,花菇正常,都有菇味炒翡翠苗個人麻麻呢隻菜因爲覺得佢有臭青味但佢調味偏重所以都蓋左啲臭青味雜菌走過油咬菇好香,配埋佢咸濃既調味令雜菌增加味道其他仲左幾款食物最後跟餐有紫薯水間包有三個紫薯三個奶黃個人好鐘意水間球呢度堂韌既皮紫薯餡做得幾好,唔好太乾,又唔會太甜而且好足料,爆餡咁滯
