To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 「豫園」是一間滬菜館,屬車軚人推介餐室之一。與友飯聚,可趁機一試餐廳的功夫。除了中庭大廳外,餐廳內部被規劃成多間獨立房間,增加了用餐環境評分。在大廳牆上印製了一幅特色畫作,提起了餐廳的中式格調。 「乾燒大明蝦」是最先送上的作品,菜式以新鮮大蝦精製,配以鮮茄醬及豆瓣醬製成的醬汁而成。味道酸香泛辣,蝦鮮肉實,風味賣相勻不俗。「焗釀蟹蓋」雖然蟹肉份量不少,但蟹蓋體積細小,難言大體。菜式沒有用上重味的醬汁,能相對容易突出蟹肉的鮮甜味道及蟹羔的甘香。 「鮮松茸火腿豬腱燉螺頭」是熬煮足三小時的燉湯,湯料豐足,湯汁敦厚香甜。螺頭經過長時間熬煮仍保美味軟身。倘若能再追加多一點份量相信味道會更佳。 「富貴火舫」一向是小編喜愛的菜餚,蜜味甜絲絲,與金華火腿味道匹配。包皮軟,青瓜爽,腐皮脆,口感層次豐富。 「原隻鮑魚拌麵」以新鮮鮑魚入饌,感覺貴氣。鮑魚質感軟彈,炆煮得入味。拌麵以鮑汁頭抽拌煮製作,再加入惹味的洋蔥香蔥等引味,出品可口,麵條亦感煙韌。 二人同行用膳,能試的菜餚數量有限,只能著手餐廳精選,貴精不貴多。回顧席間多味菜式,普遍賣相擺盤精巧,用料具質素,味道理想,難怪「豫園」能在短時間成為車軚人推介
