To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 八道菜蟹宴係有誠意嘅,成個餐都食得出大廚嘅心思,全部手功菜,值得一試。今次幫襯順便睇埋其他單點菜式嘅餐牌,好多都好有興趣,有機會一定再試埋單點嘅晚餐。前菜好味嘅,但就咁食個人覺得個脆蟮同叉燒都有點咸,少少啫,有碗白飯一齊食就一流喇。8道菜全部都好好味,但全餐最精彩嘅係個花雕雞油蒸膏蟹。蟹鮮甜多膏(膏比較實似係蟹乸),花雕嘅香味滲咗入蟹度,更加帶出蟹嘅鮮甜味。我試咗一啖佢個汁,就咁入口都唔會咸,好清香有蟹嘅鮮甜,雞油嘅甘香同花雕嘅醇厚..... 兩位食一隻蟹,蟹唔算太大;但佢好貼心咁跟個米粉俾你,可以撈埋個汁嚟食..... 係超完美嘅配搭...... 絶對唔會唔夠飽嘅。餐廳環境同服務質素都好好;唯獨是車位得十個,如果揸車去嘅話訂枱時記住要訂埋車位。仲有,如要食8道菜蟹宴訂位時要講明嘅。我原本唔知,好在職員打嚟confirm booking時有同佢講食蟹宴,佢即時幫我哋訂返,唔係去到無得食就慘喇。題外話,見到餐廳做緊午市點心優惠,有興趣都可以睇睇。我試完再分享。
