To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 朋友與我都喜歡吃中菜, 可幸大家志同道合, 可以吃得高興。第一次來到豫園, 環境十分高級, 菜式很精緻, 落地玻璃窗更可以看到維港夜景, 很是醉人。店員服務亦很細心, 好識做, 我們和朋友慶祝生日, 店員都有配合到。食物方面, 都是細細碟, 很精緻, 優雅的感覺, 適合女生吃。舟山海蜇頭$88海蜇頭, 形態與一般吃的海蜇很不同, 它有漸變的色彩, 一塊塊的, 配合爽脆的青瓜, 加上少少醋香, 是不敗的前菜組合。紹興醉雞$88細細碟, 酒香入味, 卻不會嗆喉, 好像都是雞腿部分, 十分嫩, 有質素。生拆蟹粉小籠包$118小籠包皮薄薄的卻不容易穿, 很香的蟹粉味和香的肉味, 加上湯汁, 令人很享受這一刻。豆沙鍋餅$58炸過的外皮薄薄的, 很香口, 包著甜香的豆沙, 邪惡的東西, 永遠是最美味的。大家都很滿意今晚的晚餐, 份量小小的, 正好可以多選幾款吃, 就算兩三個人, 吃中菜也沒難度。
