To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

從不知道東涌有這些開在村裡的酒樓,還有專車接送,真的捨得落本!一入到去,便見到好多蚊(很大隻那種)飛來飛去,自己還未填飽肚子便要做蚊的晚餐!!(>_<)甫坐下來,便見到一位約中三的女孩子端來一大碗湯,還替我們用熱水淥一淥碗筷(一向在酒樓也是自己動手的?!),服務真的好得沒話說。由於友人跟老闆熟稔,所以菜式由老闆發板,待每道菜都端來時,我和其他朋友才知道點了甚麼。先來一碟燒肉及鴨胸,兩碟都好好味,燒肉七分瘦三分肥,燒得恰到好處,皮脆肉嫩;鴨胸有點似薰蹄,很特別。跟著其他菜式一次過來到︰有荔蓉茄子、豉油王煎大蝦、酥炸生蠔、金銀蛋莧菜、清炒西蘭花、燒豬骨、椒鹽鮮魷。全部以味道取勝,沒甚賣相,極有住家式風味。可惜油落得太重手,兩碟青菜都曉得"反光",真的嚇了我一跳,不過總括來說,若食嫌了商業式的酒樓菜,來這裡一試也無妨。
