Restaurant: Fat Belly Butcher & Gin House

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 本身諗住呢一間小店,係呀OpenRice上面都有不少好評,同埋佢係用呢一個炭爐去燒塊牛扒,就諗住去試一試。當日我哋兩個人訂咗位安排咗喺門口吧枱,咁我哋就叫咗一份Prama Ham嘅頭盤,同埋兩塊牛扒。首先,個頭盤Prama Ham完全冇風乾火腿應該有嘅香味,而且塊火腿唔乾身,亦都冇見到有好多油脂係個面上面。最離譜嘅係,配搭火腿食嘅嗰個蜜瓜,一啲都唔甜,好似未熟晒咁。不過,要數最令我失望嘅一定係塊聲稱係炭爐燒出嚟嘅牛扒,呢一餐食咗成千蚊真係俾得好嬲。入到去都知道其實係可以去揀塊牛扒嘅,但一見到個display櫃,嘩,佢亂咁塞啲牛扒塞到full晒根本就揀唔到,摸上手凍到成舊冰,嚴重懷疑因為咁樣搞到最後塊扒一啲都唔好食。我哋叫咗一份medium,同一份rare. 份medium已經去到medium well, 而份rare更加熟到係Medium嘅程度。不過最離譜嘅肯定係塊牛扒完全冇鎖住肉汁,擺上台啲肉汁就已經出水出到離晒譜,十足十去茶餐廳叫定食,或者以前喺扒王之王食到嘅質素,好好地一份成$500嘅扒都俾佢煮到咁真係多謝晒,佢完全浪費咗個炭燒爐。當我哋同店員反映,會唔會塊肉喺雪櫃拎出嚟冇好好解

當我哋同店員反映,會唔會塊肉喺雪櫃拎出嚟冇好好解凍處理,導致肉汁冇辦法鎖住同埋啲血水係咁滲出來。佢堅稱佢哋餐廳嘅處理手法冇問題,同埋佢哋係chill住舊肉而唔係frozen. 所以唔需要特別解凍處理。

我哋最後亦都有叫咗份甜品,個Jasmine味嘅Cream brûlée反而有驚喜,識落有淡淡茉莉茶嘅香味,值得一試。
