To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

食物質素不合格,不熱,味道差。我們叫了一碟乾燒伊麵,伊麵有一陣很怪嘅味道不知是面餅放久了還是炒燶了,蘿蔔糕是室溫的,干炒四季豆也是室溫的且多油,叉燒素鴨拼盤的叉燒不是新鮮的有點乾還少少韌。原意是留在香港消費希望支持一下飲食行業,但從來沒有諗過鴻星出品會這樣差,好像把很久買不出的舊食材煑給客人食,服務也一般,我是不會再去消費。明白香港租金及人工高,所以食物價格要定在能夠支出的範圍。這是明白的但這樣的出品想留客也難,希望沒有遊客在這裏消費,要不然太過影響香港嘅形象。
