To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 經常去銅鑼灣路過見到呢間茶餐廳,但從來都冇入去食過,都見到有啲人但係通常都係啲四50歲打後阿叔大嬸。新徵頭好多附近食肆都冇開,見裏便冇乜人,就諗住入去試吓。叫咗三個小菜,粟米斑塊,者者豬潤雞煲,味椒鹽鮮魷。首先講吓呢個粟米斑塊,出街以來從未食過咁難食,啲所謂斑塊完全冇味,出邊果啲粉仲厚過塊魚片,係呀冇錯係魚片,唔係斑塊,係薄到你唔會想像到!真係仲衰過啲三餸飯!豬潤雞煲! 六七件雞六七件雞件,除咗一兩舊有用其他根本全部都係下欄,骨頭一堆,唯有裏面好多洋蔥,真係食洋蔥都飽!食完之後發覺原來佢哋冇俾朱潤,屋企人話廢x事追佢. 嗱嗱聲食完轉場去食其他嘢。椒鹽鮮油又係得嗰幾舊,味道普通,應該好多大排檔好食過佢。呢個只係三個餸之中比較好少少。一個套餐成差唔多一舊水,如果佳記有開呢啲咁嘅價錢真係食飽到嘔呀。仲有你可以入去睇吓嗰啲所謂夥計態度個大媽阿姐,好似都唔想做咁。俾啲圖片你哋睇吓自己決定試唔試呢幾個撚手小菜
