To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一行多人吃東西的好處,莫過於可以一次點選很多菜式和食物,一次過滿足多個願望。今次到大埔cafe首爾,由於一行近十人,所以一次過可以試到他們很多款不同的韓國菜式。之前有親友說他們的韓菜抵食好吃,而我則是首次光顧。我們在餐廳未開門之前,就請求入去等及先看餐牌;12時正開門,不消10至15分鐘,已經座無虛席,幸好我們早到,否則一行10人,很難會有座位啊!煎蔬菜餅,香口不油膩,但個人不愛韭菜,所以未能公平評分!野芝麻豆腐鍋 ~湯汁很濃稠,芝麻香味濃厚,但是我就覺得稠了一點!分不出野芝麻跟我平日吃慣的芝麻有何不同。這豆腐鍋佐飯是不錯的,但只適合大伙兒Share。獨食應會覺得膩。現在吃韓國菜必吃的傳統原味炸雞~味道普普通通、不算太油膩,不過不失!韓式水冷麵~不及九龍城發哥也吃那間好,這麵沒有配上很多水梨,但是醋汁酸酸的搭配上冰冰涼涼的冷麵,在點選的眾多菜式中,是唯一清新之選!烤牛肉蕃茄湯麵~味道普普通通。但是小朋友的最愛,同行小朋友吃得津津有味!韓式炒粉絲,無甚特別。傳統韓式牛肉石頭飯,是一道很難會做得不好吃的菜。他們的石頭飯,配料頗多,賣相不俗!韓式豬手,很淋滑很入味,配以他們自家秘製的辣椒醬汁
