To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 昨晚,朋友帶了我到位於銅鑼瀛V-point的豫園食中菜,第一次去不知道味道如何呢?環境方面,座位好舒適;就算系二人台也不會感到逼。茶芥是每位$18,而前菜為$25一碟。南翔小籠包:小籠包一籠四個,每一個既小籠包同樣包有肉汁,所以需要小心夾。一咬小籠包的肉汁咇出黎,令到入面既鮮豬肉好juicy!皮不會太厚或太薄,再點上醋,令味道更加突出!海鮮雙黃麵:雙黃麵炸到脆卜卜,而且海鮮汁是另上,可令食客自行調較麵的軟硬度。海鮮包了魚肉和蝦隻,另外仲加入了蘑菇和小白菜更加健康!生煎鍋貼:鍋貼一共四隻,同樣地每隻很大;煎鍋貼不會太過油膩;鍋貼入面既鮮豬肉多汁又鮮味,簡直一食就愛上!焗釀蟹蓋:蟹蓋很的色,外層很香口,內層是蛋白;味道會比較淡味,另加一些醋令整體味道提升。
