To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今年聖誕我哋揀咗食中菜慶祝,平日嘅夜晚嚟到逸東軒,餐廳環境氣氛幾好,枱同枱之間嘅空間都好足夠~值得一讚係店員嘅服務態度都非常好,果然有酒店嘅質素🤗食完前菜四季豆豬肉粒之後,我哋第一個叫咗脆皮片皮雞 (二食) ($628)😌店員首先會俾我哋睇吓成隻雞,打咗卡先,之後就去片喇~雞皮非常之脆身,雞肉都好滑,有幾塊仲痴住啲雞油,勁香口!呢度亦都好貼心,一人上一set配菜,食得非常方便~不過食食吓發現春餅數量比雞多,如果可以平均返就perfect喇😆二食叫咗生菜包雞崧,炒得好乾身,而且味道唔會太重,加埋生菜食可以中和返片皮雞嘅少少膩感😋另外仲叫咗馳名燒味雙輝 - 蜜汁叉燒、脆皮燒腩仔 ($380)😆每款總共有八件,燒腩仔皮酥脆,啲肉亦都有肉汁,但略鹹少少~叉燒大大嚿,加埋蜜汁,半肥瘦好好味😋之後見到一個推介嘅菜式,砂鍋薑蔥爆乳香銀鱈魚 ($288)~本身唔算好期待,但反而呢個係令我哋最有驚喜😳欣賞銀鱈魚切到一小塊,適合一啖食晒😗南乳醬嘅味道較得啱啱好,令到鱈魚嘅外皮有好香嘅南乳味,但咬開就有鱈魚嘅鮮味,肉質亦都好滑~其實食完都已經好飽,但係又好想試吓佢嘅甜品,所以叫咗推介嘅香芒糯米卷 ($58)
