To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

午膳時間與同事一起外出用膳,試了一間酒家「盈館」。酒家裝潢採用 Tiffany Blue 作為其中一種主色調,用餐環境都算整潔舒適。一如其他酒家,「盈館」午市都是供應一般及飯麵點心。驟眼看過點餐紙,食品款式都算豐富。「蝦面燒賣皇」水準正常,一只鮮蝦在面上有助增加燒賣的爽口感。未有親嚐「晶瑩鮮蝦餃」及「黑椒牛仔骨」。一籠蝦餃只有三件不合預期,建議在點餐紙明確標示。「鮑汁燜鳳爪」製作入味,連伴上的花生也見腍身可口。「盈館春風得意腸」與「香煎瑤柱蘿蔔糕」屬煎炸點。喜愛前者香脆富層次的食感。以西班牙黑毛豬製作的「西班牙黑毛豬叉燒皇」擁有不俗的鬆軟口感,奈何調味過於重手,味道過鹹。「川辣口水雞」沒有太大的川辣風味,反而更像麻醬雞。與叉燒皇一樣,口味過鹹。「脆皮乳鴿」外皮不夠脆,但鴿肉夠嫩。薑汁炒雜菜 ...「鮑汁珍菌炆米粉」炆米濕度適中,掛上鮑汁菇菌惹味好吃。「農場蛋撻仔」以牛油曲奇作底,略厚硬,評價一般。「盈館」食品選擇多,午膳時間易找位,可以試試。
