To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 朋友今次就揀左呢間中菜餐廳食團年飯,未到年三十已經好多人🙈·🦞白玉奶皇龍蝦龍蝦好新鮮,肉質爽口彈牙·🐚黑金蒜粉絲蒸蟶子皇粉絲索晒啲蒜蓉味同豉油,好入味😚蟶子皇都好大隻,啖啖肉無沙~·🐟亞參蜜汁美人魚沙律脆卜卜嘅炸魚乾,飯前食少少鹹香小食幾開胃·🦆48 小時熟成煙燻片皮鴨一入門口就見到一隻隻煙燻緊嘅鴨,師傅會即場將隻鴨拆肉同片皮,上枱後就可以自己加其他配料😆我就加左餐廳特製的青椒汁,帶少少辣,鴨肉都好嫩滑·🐷招牌化皮梅菜扣肉最邪惡嘅一道菜😈梅菜不算好鹹,扣肉炆得好軟腍·🥬雙蔬手工魚腐煲一粒粒白色嘅魚腐波波,望落以為係魚蛋😂😂加埋豆苗一齊整,好清甜·🐚酥炸花蜆鴛鴦脆皮河粉第一次食脆皮河粉,脆卜卜都唔錯,下面仲有濕炒河粉同花蜆· 🍎蘋果拿破崙呢個甜品係必食😍花朵形狀嘅拿破崙,趁熱食嘅口感好酥脆,加上蘋果蓉好香口,伴碟仲有雪糕同脆餅,睇得又食得🤤
