Uma Nota has elegant and delicious food but also maintains a fun atmosphere. Pretty much all their dishes are bite sized - so even between two people you might need 6-7 dishes! Every dish had its unique take, even common items like chicken skewers were not only excellent quality, but the flavors were nuanced. The soy sauce for example was infused with a chipotle flavor. The cheese/tapioca dices was another unique dish which was quite moreish. A must have was the chicken and okra coxinhas - or Brazilian fried dumpling - because the filling was hearty and flavorful, it was fried well so it felt light and airy rather than dense and it was also served with a punchy super spicy sauce which I loved. Another favorite was the octopus salad which was buttery smooth - it’s a huge compliment coming from someone who doesn’t usually like octopus. Every dish was super delicious and no complaints. I only wish there was no waiting time (they don’t take reservations for under 6 people) and that there was more dishes to try, as I’ve practically tried everything on the menu in 2 visits. Don’t forget to try the complimentary Brazilian condensed milk balls at the end - they are divine. Highly recommend!
