Siu Mei (Roast Meat) is a popular food in Hong Kong. I eat it for lunch at least once a week. This restaurant serves drink boxes only, so if you are looking for some classic fresh lemon tea or milk tea, this isn’t the place for you. The reason we came here was definitely the ‘char siu’, I ordered chai siu with another type of roasted pig ‘siu yuk’. The siu yuk has surprisingly crispy skin, perfect ratio of meat and fat. The siu yuk has surprisingly crispy skin, perfect ratio of meat and fat. The cha siu is marinated in a honey BBQ sauce, I tasted a lot of sweetness from the glaze. Although the meat was great, the portion of sauce is a bit of a let down, there was barely sauce in the rice as you can see from the pic.
