6 Apr was our 17th anniversary. Original plan was to go to Robuchom au Dome for dinner. Noting that ferries and hotels were rather full, we decided to stay in Hong Kong and went to 131.First, for anyone who plans to go there and doesn't drive, pls use 807 Van from the University station only. We were assigned a table outdoor, though their emails during booking mentioned nothing in this regard. Overall, food, except the main dish and home-made bread, was quite good. Yet, service (except for a very friendly waiter who served our food) was terrible (went to robuchon, Amber, Caprice... can't find such arrogrant waiter who speaks very little English). View from table. Quite good indeed. mini salmon roe and fatty tuna. if only the cone is a bit crispier... would be a very nice but super mini dish. Bread was really so so... recommend to skip it if you are not starving, like us. Starter: cured and smoked salmon, white asparagus, funnel, corn. the salmon was good and I like the dill freshly picked from its farm just 10 steps away. Again, that "waffle" is not crispy .... others ok they served this water from UK. Do not like it but the shop provided no other choices. With an extensive wine list, I highly recommend the restaurant to expand its mineral water list too. obsilue prawn romanesco ham shellfish broth. Quite ok. the ham made the soup more interesting guinea fowl ... could have fried that for a bit longer. the taste was a bit blend. And must say do not like the sunchoke purée at all dessert and petit fours were good. Love the blook orange gelo.
