I used to live close by and that was why I used to go to Chippy a lot. The food was reasonably priced and tasty, the service was quite good - All in all a good place to grab a quick bite before a wild night out. However, things seemed to have changed when I went there last month. The place is now run by its Nepalese owner. The menu's still the same but the food portion has shrunk tremendously. I literally saw the chef counting the chips one by one - something I had never encountered in the UK,

The fish was small and bland. The chips were hard and chewy. The meal was really disappointing. Having paid over 200 bucks for cod and chips twice, only one thing came to mind: never again!
If you are looking for good fish and chips, stick with the Irish pubs.
