Chippy已坐落中環許久,看門面,沒想過有好野食。許久前無意間從openrice中看到人讚,才留意。但”炸魚”始終未能吸引到我,把它排在試食榜高處。從光顧過的朋友中得知,該店營業至1-2個月,便會結業,搬遷,所以o拿o拿聲去吃。由於店子小,通氣系統不夠完善(但一切擺佈也很整齊),油煙味勳身,所以選擇買走。店裡只兩名,應是印巴藉”夫婦”?主理。女的負責接單,我想吃Fired bar mar,但不想要雪糕,她說要不要雪糕也同樣價錢。我在考慮時,她便問我想要多少件,我只要一件咋,她說ok,收我$25一粒。食物即叫即做,包保脆口!我點了fish burger。嘩!超高高的漢堡包!炸魚size也不細小。炸漿吃不出啤酒味,但相信對”炸”的過程,有良好化學作用, crunchy crunchy!魚塊雖然無乜味,但魚肉非常之滑!!包內夾了蕃茄、青瓜和不少生菜。我怕太飽,就此作"生菜包炸魚"吃,平衡油炸食物之熱氣感。So juicy!其實拿著外賣收穫的袋子,覺得咁重既…打開,漢堡之大,和闊1cm,厚5mm的薯條之多,還有1粒巨大Fired bar mar,也用上一個連蓋鍚紙兜,簡直是店子好像蝕了給我吧

今日去行石板街順便找這鋪 沒想到原來就在石板街裡 去既時候就唔係好多人 但走個陣就滿客 哈哈好彩好多人都係尊登來食fish & chilp既我今次點了個sole既fish炸得很鬆化 配埋他的沙拉醬真的很捧 (我一向討厭的沙拉醬)另外薯條有下鹽 0岩晒我不喜歡點茄醬既人另外點了杯latte 比外面的cafe也不錯可能我未食過fish & cilp 但我真的覺得很好但英國菜真的很貴呢D都係間中食下算吧

這是一間不起眼的小店位於石板街，埋沒有派對化妝道具檔中笫一次去吃了Sole fish and chips 第二次去吃了plaice fish and chips 魚的味道質感到處都能找到，來這店，吃的是帶啤酒味，薄又脆的炸漿！好正！ 這店不算多人 午飯時間多數都有位 但要有心理準備食物來得比較慢，店裏只有一個侍應和一個煮食的人。還有，不要在身光頸靚時到訪，店的抽油煙設備欠佳 離開時一身都帶點油煙味。。。儘管如此，美味的fish &chips依然吸引在中環區，$100一個set lunch唔算平亦唔算特別貴。。。但同價位的餐廳可能裝潢好d 食完又唔會成身油煙味。。。但味道這麼正宗的小店可能很難找到第二間 希望這間小店能一直生存下去

英倫這個地方著名／好吃的食物不多，數來數去都離不開炸魚薯條。記得那時去倫敦，小妹仍然是窮學生一名，high tea沒我份兒，吃得最多一定是麵包和kebab，就連炸魚薯條都只是吃過一次，所以對那次在倫敦一條橋底下的一間diner吃的炸魚薯條，那感覺叫我一直都記得！是晚在這裡，我又有一點當時的感覺......首先這家餐廳是位於一個地下位置，非常不顯眼。室內座位很擠迫，我倆甚至要坐在廚房門口，真的很焗。然後我們便拿出團購券，一份炸魚薯條和一份魚柳漢堡，兩罐汽水，很簡單的一頓晚餐。看到像是菲藉的店員直接把炸好的魚放在碟上／夾在沒有翻熱的麵包中，很raw很簡單，就這樣給客人（即我們）了。Fish Burger看著這份漢堡，小妹又有窮的感覺！一塊中等身型的魚柳夾在凍冰冰的麵包中，有點雞肋的感覺，結果我還是沒有把麵包吃掉，只吃了魚柳和一點兒的麵包。然後是很油膩的薯條，因為都沒有用吸油紙稍微吸一吸油就直接上碟，而且就是小貓幾條的感覺，吃是吃得飽的，不過感覺真的很有我在那倫敦橋底下吃炸魚的窮學生感覺！Fish & Chips比漢堡好一點，魚塊有大約五塊，都是剛炸好就立刻上碟，故也很油膩，但起碼吃得滋味。

I went here for lunch around, 12:30pm. A small cafe type set-up. There were a few customers, but had a couple tables available.The smell reminded me of chippies in the U.K and for a few moments it was quite comforting.
