Upon arriving right at 9pm I requested a beer at happy hour pricing and was told by the waiter that he wasn't able as happy hour had ended. It seems as though Agave's only aiming to please a specific type of customer. The kind that looks and is British, Aussie, American or European. Yes they want the gringo more than they want the rest. This is ironic given that Agave is a Mexican themed bar with Filipino waiters and waitresses who have the license to be rude but not the least flexible in ANYTHING... unless you're the coveted "ideal customer" of course.
If you do go to Agave, request for one of the  female waitresses - they seem to have a bit more personality so it's the lesser of the two evils.
Finally, the chicken fajita I ordered tasted good.  EXTREMELY overpriced (250 HK) for one fajita and a water.
