“616” can be translated as boiling (in the Chinese culture, it describes a movement during hotpot times). The name actually attracts me to see what this restaurant actually up to since they has been expanding recently. We decided to give it a try today as the weather is cooler nowadays (despite it’s still really hot during the day times). This restaurant is famous for their meats - especially their beef because they offer different kinds of beef which one cannot find it normally in other hotpot
- We picked the combination of satay and the normal beef soup broth., the satay soup was sweeter than the normal soup base. They provided us with some watermelon as well before we start to freshen up our appetite.

- We ordered two kinds of beef in which we haven’t tried before and it tasted great! The portion was perfect for two people. Veggie is also a must whenever we have hotpot so we ordered two kinds of veggie as well, they were fresh and filling.

- Ox tongue was the highlight of this meal, since many people said it is really good. We ordered it as a side dish and for sure, it didn’t disappoint us. Very juicy and the portion was huge and definitely a must to order! (price was reasonable too)

Overall, I will come back for sure for their ox tongue and of course during the winter times since the weather is still a bit hot now. I would also recommend any big groups to come here for dinner so you will be able to taste all the different types of beef which you will not have tasted before!
