To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

Kaetsu is usually a very expensive dining option, whether it is for lunch or dinner.  BUT, and it's a big but, on weekends, they have an incredible brunch for under $800 a person.  They have a prodigious selection of sushi/sashimi, wagyu beef, tempura, teppanyaki and desserts.   The quality is what you would expect from a usual visit to Kaetsu, but this is the time to wear your stretchy pants.  The wagyu beef is also all you can eat.Things get interesting when you start combining their different

Things get interesting when you start combining their different offerings:  wagyu beef cubes with teppan fried rice anybody?

Definitely a great way to treat yourself on the weekends!  It's hard to book though.
