To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 這間店鋪在開業的數個月中,經常光顧的一間小店,當然第一次來的時候看似賣咖啡,原來做的是熟食料理,由韓國老闆以及廚房的韓國廚師打理,星期一至五的午餐價錢只不過約四十元,而晚餐及假期也只是五十元可以有交易,走低價路線,當然不能相比尖沙咀的古宮,錦城等韓國店子.侍應是本地人,所以溝通上沒有問題,叫上一客鐵板雞肉飯,索價五十元實為不貴了,這處鐵板雞肉飯,用上金菇,韓式年糕,南瓜,還附送例湯以及泡菜,當然我會它起了少許焦才會把材料和飯攪伴一起,吃落帶辣味,而辣味則蓋了本身用上冰鮮雞肉的缺點,但是肉質帶點乾口,配上一層白飯,不知為何每次吃也會清光的,已經合格有剩,泡菜聽說自家製,份量不多夠喉,可以辣多少許,是否因香港人口味而變呢?湯則用上蛋白,蘿白以及蒜頭,濃味十足的湯水,有點不習慣.侍應也算醒目,主動添茶,埋單後往大埔中心方向離開.
