Deep-fried Homemade Pork & Chive Dumplings
Bite-size dumplings. Crispy and thin wrapper with a chewy filling. Served with Thai sauce.
Beef Ball
Watch out for the bursting hot soup as you bite in! The beef ball itself had a rather firm texture, which went in harmony with the juicy filling.
Beef Brisket, Pig's Blood, Radish, Choy Sum Yellow Noodles
Added aromatic satay sauce. Beef brisket wasn't too fat but still pretty tender, while pig's blood and radish had well absorbed the flavors of the sweet and savory sauce.
Flat Rice Noodles w/ Meatballs in Golden Chicken Soup
Consisting of Shanwei fish and pork balls, squid balls, beef balls and fish cake - of which the Shanwei meat dumplings were extraordinary with a slippery potato wrapper and meat filling with sesame aroma. The soup was extra rich and intense.
Barbecue Pork
A must-try! Generous portion. The charsiu had a good meat to fat ratio with edible tendons. Sweet and appetizing honey sauce.
Water Spinach w/ Fermented Bean Curd
The fermented bean curd was flavorful and slightly spicy, which went well with water spinach as always.
