Every Christmas, I do a little Christmas get together. And every year, I always create a charcuterie board for my friends to nibble on before Christmas dinner begins. The Dutch Cheese and More is located in Sheung Wan. A small shop with various cheese products and other things that can compliment cheese. The staff was friendly and offered samples of everything before I made my purchases.
After a while, I chose a smoked cheese. This was $100 and approximately 100 grams. The gouda that had a slight smokey flavor. The cheese was creamy and not too strong. A wax cheese paper was given to me as well for storage of the cheese. I used it and it's great. It keeps the cheese dry enough in my fridge.
'Along with cheese, they also sell other products. Such as this. A jar of pickles ($55).
These small mini pickles were crisp and tart. It had a great crunch and highly addictive. They went fast on my charcuterie board. The brine tasted pretty good, too.
They had so many products and the staff was very helpful and informative with the what to serve with the cheese. One of the best experiences ever in purchasing cheese in Hong Kong. I will be back!
