To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Their restaurant has an afternoon tea promoton whch is labelled buy 1-get-1 free but after paying for all the extra fees for tea and snacks its around $200 per person. However, overall it was worth it.My favorite besides the smoked baby squab was the smoked eggs, which had a lovely aroma while not being too overpowering.The promotion picture only had 1 bowl of noodles so I thought we had to share it with 2 small bowls. The promotion picture only had 1 bowl of noodles so I thought we had to share it with 2 small bowls. To my surprise, it was 2 large bowls for each person. I felt the soup could be a bit richer but other than that it was good and certainly very fulfilling.
