no.5 italian is tucked into a cozy area full of restaurants in Tai Hang. Thanks Mr. W for bringing me there and booking a table one month earlier so we get to sit at the mini terrace outdoor. The waitstaff were nice enough to bring us a small heater so it won’t be cold.We ordered seafood bisque with homemade bread ($110), Johnny’s style pizza ($178) and sea urchin & white truffle cream sauce linguine ($188). We shared the soup between two and the waitstaff already helped us to divide the soup in
We ordered seafood bisque with homemade bread ($110), Johnny’s style pizza ($178) and sea urchin & white truffle cream sauce linguine ($188). We shared the soup between two and the waitstaff already helped us to divide the soup into two portions before bringing it out. The seafood included prawns, clams and scallop and they were very fresh. The handmade bread that comes with it was really good with the truffle butter provided. The aroma of the white truffle in the pizza was lovely and the ingredients went perfect together. The crust was thin and crispy to our liking. Highlight of the night! This tasted soooo good! The linguine was cooked al dente and the creamy sauce was rich which balanced well and did not override the taste of the sea urchin.
