Weekend brunch ideas: vodka rigatoni, posh green juice, mussels pot We heard that this pet-friendly holiday cafe spot has rolled out new menus, and there are tapas to choose from! Our tapas picks: blue mussels pot in a boozy savoury soup with tomato and chorizo bits, calamari with yuzu mayo. The mussels pot had nearly 30 shells which was honestly satiating. Our pastas: Vodka rigatoni was REAL GOOD, loaded with crab meats, tomato, onions and spinach. Spicy, creamy and full of sauce. We literally finished the whole plate in 5 mins. Mentaiko spaghetti with prawns, bacons and salmon roes, was equally creamy and the prawns were plump and garlicky.

Drinks were AMAZING: the Affogato came with an extremely rich double (or even triple) shot espresso, and crunchy lotus biscoff crumbs. Check out my glass of luxurious green juice: it’s Tropical Matcha, blended with passion fruit, grapefruit and ice-cream. It smelt incredibly fruity, almost like a piece of freshly cut passion fruit, and I’ve never tasted any matcha drink like this before.

Desserts:
Brioche French toast with matcha cream, sweet red beans, matcha ice-cream, and warabi mochi. It’s the French style so it’s soft and fluffy, the brioche toasts were thick and soaked in a sweet milky sauce. You know it’s good when you see orders of these toasts appear on every table. There are creme brûlée and peanut butter flavours too. Warabi mochi tasted authentic so we got an extra plate of kinako and matcha flavours to share.
