Our domestic helper took her holiday on the day after Labour Day, so I decided to order some take-outs on my way back from Causeway Bay to share with my mom for dinner. I saw that there's a new Malaysian restaurant in L square, so I decided to check it out.I got to the restaurant a little after 7:30, and it was packed. There were 3 servers working, and one of them looked like the manager. Another couple arrived at the restaurant at the same time I did, and the manager seated them first. Then
The manager finally came back to take my order, and he came back with my check 5 minutes later.

While I was waiting for my order, clouds of steam were billowing out from the semi-open kitchen into the dining area. From where I was standing, I couldn't see exactly where the steam came from, it was just a bit frightening to see that!
I was waiting for my order for a long time, so I was watching how the staff was working. It looked like the manager was the only one taking orders and handling the checks. The two other servers were only delivering the food and bussing the tables. In that sense, the restaurant seemed quite understaffed since patrons had to wait for a while to have their orders taken and pay for their checks.
The manager could see that I was growing increasingly impatient after waiting for more than 20 minutes for my order. (I thought I would have been out of there in about 10 minutes since Malaysian food usually doesn't take this long!) A couple of minutes later, he told me that they were waiting on my naan bread order. Then, another 5 minutes later, my order was finally ready, and I left the restaurant 40 minutes after I arrived!
Good thing I was able to catch a minibus right away and got home about 10 minutes later. Nothing leaked in the bag, so that's good.

I won't be returning to Papparich anytime soon! They took forever to prepare my order, which consisted of basic Malaysian street food! The restaurant is under-staffed, and the staff is poorly-trained. The food is not good and not very authentic! I can find much better quality Malaysian food in HK for the same or even cheaper price!
Other Info. :
I saw a father bring his two sons to use the bathroom, and both of his sons were walking around barefoot! The two boys looked like primary schoolers, so they were not young toddlers. I was surprised that the restaurant didn't say anything.
