Went here because the name Ssal Bori Ssal was just different from other Korean joints.It turns out that it is the first Makgeolli bar in Hong Kong which is a bar for rice wines.The interesting thing is that the expensive rice wines come in plastic bottles while the ones that can be kept longer are packaged in glass bottles.There were so many rice wine flavours too like purple potato, chestnut, pinenut etc. The one we had was as good as champagne and when you open the bottle the air rushes to the

The one we had was as good as champagne and when you open the bottle the air rushes to the top dragging the sediment from the bottom so you don't have to shake the bottle to mix it.

For food, there were clearly two things I really liked and that was the DIY riceballs which you make yourself.
They were soft and fragrant loaded with sesame oil.

I am not an expert on Korean food but we were the only non Koreans dining therefore the food is Korean approved hence authentic!
